About the Artist

I am a Fine Artist based in Newtown, Pennsylvania who specializes in Painting and Ceramics. I graduated from the University of Delaware in the Spring of 2023 with a Bachelors Degree in the Fine Arts. Prior to my studies at University, I explored two dimensional art through printmaking, painting, and digital drawings. I quickly began mixing the mediums together, for example a painting with linoleum prints highlighting the subject matter in a piece. This is when my love for the unknown truly began as I would redesign ordinary photos with aliens and invasions.

Exploring the digital world this soon led to my desire to make the unknown come to life in a more three-dimensional way. University allowed my love for digital animation to quickly evolve into a love for stop motion animation. Here I was able to use different techniques such as cotton, wire, tissue paper, and clay to create aliens experiencing their world burning down before them. With patience and attention to detail, I created a heartwarming short film for my dog, Stewie, showing the connections between different worlds and spaces.

I am always trying out new methods and approaches as the world of art is constantly changing, therefore I adapt. I used those sculpting skills to get back into ceramics and collected materials for months until I could start up my own studio. Stocking up on clay, plaster, and chemicals to make my own glaze this entire process has been an adventure that I never want to end.
